About...

One By One: The Latin America Project is a Canadian non-profit created by a small group of retired teachers and administrators. It is centred in Guelph, Ontario.

​

The group is committed to helping the disadvantaged Mayan people of the Guatemala improve their lives by focusing in basic living standards, educational opportunities and health & wellness initiatives.

​

We have partnered with a number of Mayan communities in the Antigua area.  We have also developed relationships with local and regional governments.  We are committed to these communities for the long-term.
